With the autopositioning functionality, the unit is automatically positioned, the collimator opens to the image format selected in the protocol, and additional filters are set up according to the examination (paediatrics, etc.).

The digital (DR) version of your room includes an acquisition console with touch screen interface (option).

The optional Scatter Correction software (usually called Virtual Grid) is an algorithmic image-processing technique that improves contrast by subtracting scatter noise.
It is automatically performed by software and can be applied to all anatomical regions (as set by the user).
This feature can eliminate the need for a physical anti-scatter grid, thereby improving ergonomics (no grid handling) and dose delivered to the patient (no grid to penetrate).
It minimizes missed exposures caused by grid misalignment and/or artifacts.
For pediatric exams, it can be used to reduce scatter and thus improve image quality.
