Manual Statif Stum, versatility for radiography with reasonable budget

Statif Stum, a compact radiology solution

This U-arm x-ray system consists in a vertical column and a swivel arm with variable height that holds the X-ray assembly and the Bucky. Statif Stum is a versatile RAD room to perform X-rays from head to toe. The exposures can be made directly on the swiveling Bucky, but also on a stretcher or wheelchair. It can be used with cassettes (CR plates) DR and Wifi detectors. You can perform all your conventional radiology examinations. A version with motorized movements (vertical and SID) is available.
UNIHA

This multipurpose x-room allows you to perform examinations with the image receptor inside the bucky, or outside for direct projections such as weight bearing exams, on stretcher…

Ergonomics

consoles commandes

Command console

On tubehead, the control console consists of keys with symbols corresponding to the different available movements.
The display shows the selected SID value, some inclinometers indicate the angles of the arm, the tube and the Bucky.

Patient table

Statif Stum can be equipped with an optional patient table (elevating or fixed) to make possible all the horizontal exposures for patients in bed or polytraumatized.

Customized implementation

In standard version, the Bucky for image receptor  is on the left of the machine.
On request depending on the installation of the unit in the room, this Bucky can be installed on the right at the factory.

Reference positions

Système radiographie numérique - Statif Pro

Table and chest are predefined positions on Statif Stum.
The Table detent indicator is lit when the unit reaches the suitable position to place a mobile table just over the Bucky, SID set at 100cm and arm in vertical position.
The focal distance (SID) is variable continuously from 100 to 200 cm; each of the three light indicators illuminates when specific position is reached (100cm, 180cm, 200cm), intermediate values are also available.

Optionally, this SID is motorized, as is the vertical movement of the U-arm.

The digital version (DR) of your room includes an acquisition console with touch screen interface (option).
It gives access to patient data entry, choice of anatomical protocols and acquisition parameters, image preview for validation in a few seconds, and image processing before sending to the network.

Each procedure has its own preset acquisition parameters and post-processing.

Scatter Correction

The optional Scatter Correction software (usually called Virtual Grid) is an image algorithmic processing that improves contrast by subtracting scatter noise.
It is automatically performed by software and can be applied to all anatomical regions (as set by the user).

Without correction

With correction

This feature can eliminate the need to use an anti-scatter physical grid, then optimizing ergonomics (no grid handling) and dose delivered to the patient (no grid to penetrate).

It minimizes the missed exposures due to misalignment and/or artifacts of the grid.

For pediatric exams, it can be used to reduce scatter and thus improve image quality.

DOSE MANAGEMENT

So many tools that help you to manage the delivered dose:

  • the dedicated pediatric protocols,
  • the automatic collimation by exam,
  • the filters programmed for each anatomical protocol,
  • the Dose Area Product (DAP) indicated for each image,
  • the DICOM MPPS and RDSR functions (automatic sending of examination data such as DAP and acquisition constants),
  • the optional scatter correction.
